Network with CLA alumni and current students on the "College of Liberal Arts, University of Minnesota (Twin Cities) group " and exchange career related advice and resources.
Register on the U of M's professional networking database through GoldPASS. (Click on the "Mentors" login button.) Offer advice through informational interviews, job shadowing, networking by email or other activities. Build awareness of your organization and get involved on campus.
Post jobs, internships, and volunteer opportunities on GoldPASS. If you have a paid or unpaid position to post, register as an employer by clicking on the "Employers" login button.

When you join the University of Minnesota Alumni Association (1-800-UMALUMS), you can also choose to join CLA Alumni Society or the School of Journalism and Mass Communication (SJMC) Alumni Society. You can designate that a portion of your dues support the alumni society that you've joined.
Use special campaign codes to contribute to CLA Alumni Society or SJMC Alumni Society programs and activities.

Support CLA and the U of M at the Minnesota legislature. The Legislative Network is a coalition of alumni, students, faculty, staff, and community members who are committed to educating elected officials and our community about the importance of the University of Minnesota to the state.
